Two volumes. Originally published: London: Longmans, Green & Co., 1920-1921. Reprint of the third edition. Oppenheim's major work, first published in 1905-6, and repeatedly re-edited is "still highly authoritative. According to the Oxford Companion to Law, "[Oppenheim] was a positivist who found international law in custom, international decisions and quasi-legislation" (904).
